Passion, Sweat and Gooner Tears

Hope you like the title. It was a toss up between that or 'Kane'd'.

Incredible technique from the boy.

I must admit, the topic is slightly misleading. This won't so much analyse the defeat of Arsenal so much as it'll explain why I've fallen back in love with a Tottenham team for the first time in years. Of course, that's not to say I haven't been supporting them all along, but it feels nice to finally see the players fight for the cause.

This celebration is becoming almost iconic.

Passion. The likes of Ryan Mason, Nabil Bentaleb and Harry Kane played for the badge on the front of the shirt rather than the name on the back of it and that is what I was most impressed with today. You could say how much it meant to every single one of these players to get the win against our fiercest rivals. Pochettino deserves a lot of credit for created a squad with such togetherness which was believed to be in turmoil during the last campaign.

That passion!

Sweat. The players worked their proverbial socks off today as it was made abundantly clear how fit our squad has become. We had the ball for large portions of the game but what was again most impressive was our desire to regain possession once it was lost. Ryan Mason epitomised this trait. His work rate and engine is exceptional and characterises Pochettino's philosophy above all. Like the Chelsea game, we showed a great amount of character to come from behind and get the win. As a fan, nothing makes you more proud of your team.

Pochettino is unbeaten in North London derbies.

Gooner Tears. Probably the best part of the day. I still suspect they'll finish above us, but I enjoyed that win nonetheless. Here are some highlights.

Tears for Piers.

Tune in next week for more adventures of Pirate Wanker and Fatman

And who could forget this little gem. Almost as embarrassing as taking a selfie on the pitch. Wankers!

Let's hope for more of the same against the Scousers midweek while our Wembley date with the rentboys looms ever closer. COYS!
